As part of a Unity Developer application, I had to create an inventory using only a set of given sprites. They gave a list of specific functionalities they wanted (listed next) and emphasized that it needed to be "pixel perfect".  After I gave it the functions they wanted, I was to polish the interactions however I saw fit, to make it clear what was happening, to the player. So all sound effects/animations/choices/etc. were from my own super-smart-and-creative-brain-head.
